Junior Humane Society
The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. We are a member of the United Humanitarians and have been in operation for over 30 years. We take in owner released pets so they won't be taken to the pound/animal shelter.
All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a permanent home we provide all necessary vet care, including but not limited to shots, spaying and neutering.
At JHS no one receives any monetary compensation, all donations are used for the animals. We depend solely on caring compassionate people like you, to help.
We could use your help at events, by fostering, by sponsoring or by donations. If you are interested in helping in any way please email Frankie or call her at 968-3260.
More details on volunteering or donating may be found at the JHS volunteer page of their website.
We have pet adoptions (always dogs, sometimes cats) every other Saturday at Petsmart on Davis Hwy from 12-4. You can come and visit and pick out your new furever friend. Volunteering at Petsmart is a great way for students to earn community service hours.

Also, if you shop online with Amazon and use AmazonSmile, Amazon will make a donation to JHS.
Our dogs and cats will really appreciate this.
